Santo Padre,

Lei sa meglio di me quali attenzioni Gesù riservava ai peccatori, ma sa anche che talvolta si adirava fortemente chiamandoli "Ipocriti, razza di vipere!".

Devo andare con la mente al medioevo per trovare sulla bocca di un Pontefice simili espressioni. Ma é meglio così. Pur se qualche volta sarebbero utili.

Tuttavia non Le scrivo per questo. Le scrivo perchè vedo un'enorme confusione tra chi è ritenuto peccatore e chi è apertamente uno strumento di Satana.

Satana da Gesù veniva sempre scacciato. Dico, sempre.

Allora mi chiedo: quante volte le porte del Vaticano si sono aperte, in pompa magna, a Satana?

Sarei un uomo oltre modo felice se potessi leggere sulle prime pagine dei giornali:

"Benedetto XVI rifiuta di ricevere il tal capo di stato perchè nemico di Cristo".

Oppure chi fomenta la guerra, la violenza, uccide come mai si è fatto nei secoli passati e ne fa l'apologia, non è nemico di Gesù?

Vorrei invitarla ad agire dopo che ho tante volte apprezzato le sue parole. Prenda esempio dai monaci buddisti. O è necessario muoverci senza di lei?

Holy Father,

            You know better than I the attention that Jesus gives to sinners, but you also know that from time to time, he would lose his temper and call them “hypocrites and a species of vipers.”

I have to go back to the Middle Ages in order to find similar expressions uttered by a Pope.  But it is better this way even if sometimes they might be useful.

However, I am not writing to you about this.  I am writing because I see enormous confusion between those who are considered sinners and those who are openly an instrument of Satan. 

Satan was always rejected by Jesus.  I say always. 

Then I ask myself, how many times have the doors of the Vatican been opened to Satan with great fanfare? 

I would be a very happy man if I could read in newspapers:

“Benedict XVI refuses to receive a certain head of state because he is the enemy of Christ.”

Or the person who foments war, violence and kills as was never done in past centuries and justifies them, is he not the enemy of Jesus? 

I would invite you to act as I have often appreciated your words.  Follow the example of the Buddhist monks.  Or is it necessary to act without you?
